About this project
Background
A few years ago, while relaxing on my favorite beach in Jamaica, I noticed this chill German dude roll up to the beach wearing a bathrobe and I thought, man, this guy has it all figured out...
Venturing out of home in a bathrobe is nothing new (Brian Wilson, The Big Lebowski), but I don't believe anyone has ever designed a robe specifically for this purpose. I am in the process of producing just such a robe, named after the place that originally inspired me, Winnifred Beach.
The Robe
Winnifred Beach robes are shaped much like traditional bathrobes and are lined with soft terry cloth, however the exterior offers the look, feel and utility of a traditional safari field jacket.
They're perfect for lounging at home, running errands, chilling on the beach and everything in between.
I also intend to produce a matching blanket.
Kickstart
Please support my efforts to bring these sport-utility bathrobes and blankets to market. I will use this funding to produce a finished set of promo and sales samples in addition to delivering the pieces to my backers.

As someone who thoroughly enjoys the beach and great outdoors, producing a robe specially suited for out-of-home use has long been a dream of mine.
When I am not outside, I am employed as a marketing executive at a movie studio in Los Angeles, California.
