The pachyderms at the Denver Zoo are moving. Follow along on the convoluted journey to their new home.

What a Zoo! is a picture book for children ages 3-8. It was created to help commemorate the opening of the new pachyderm compound at the local zoo.

When I was a little girl, my father took me to City Park, the Zoo, and the Museum of Nature and Science. They were some of my favorite places to visit and remain happy memories. Now as an adult, I'd like to share some of those experiences and help children discover a little bit about animals and their habitats in a silly and fun way. What a Zoo! is the story of the pachyderm's convoluted journey to their new compound. In addition to learning about animals, I hope this book helps kids understand that although moving to a new home may be scary and difficult, it can be wonderful once all is said and done.

With your pledge, I will publish, promote, and make What a Zoo! available online and in toy and bookstores. So if you're an animal lover, take occasional strolls through the zoo, or have young children who are just learning to read and would like to help me fufill a dream, please consider funding this project.
