Thank you to everyone who supported this crowd funding campaign to raise the finishing funds for the Legends of Ska film.  Though we did not reach our goal, it was a wild dance for the last 30 days. 

First of all, I want to commend my editor, Ron Halpern, for making a fantastic trailer, which garnered over 3,700 "Likes" on Facebook during the last month.  Bravo!

Special thanks to Clint for assisting with sending out the email BLASTS, Rocky for the wonderful poster art, Greg for his fine photography, and Kickstarter for designing this creative platform, which enables artists to reach a large audience and raise funds.

Thank you to all the radio deejays who invited me on their programs to help support this film project.  It was fun to be "on the air" again. 

Cheers to all the bloggers and tweeters everywhere who helped make this a viral success and put smiles on so many faces around the globe.

I truly appreciate all the warm comments and positive emails I have received not only this month, but also since this film project began many years ago.

Most of all, I want to thank YOU & the 202 people who pledged their financial support for this film. Your generosity is tremendous.

    All the above AND drumroll please...... travel to Kingston, Jamaica in early summer 2011. You get down there and I'll cover the rest. We will tour "Beat Street" and visit original Sound System Dancehall sites while lodging at the low key Prestige Hotel. You will meet Ska legends Derrick Morgan, Stranger Cole and King Stitt as well as spend a night out in the country at the home of the great balladeer, Lord Creator. Cap off the week by chilling out in Negril for a couple days before returning to your home a changed person.
