HONOR AND FAMILY is a new 15 minute musical being presented in the 2012 West Village Musical Theatre Festival.
HONOR AND FAMILY, a 15 minute musical explores the question of honoring your family or honoring your country. Set in Oklahoma, this story follows Jack Wolf, the adopted Native American son of Tom Moore, a Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jack is faced with the decision to leave home for the first time to follow in his father's footsteps by enlisting in the military. Tom's distant daughter, Jill Moore, urgently returns home from her life in Los Angeles to find her father suffering from Dementia and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. After learning of Jack's decision, Jill grapples with her views against the war while deciding how to care for her ailing father and her family in Los Angeles.
