Well, I haven't been very communicative, have I? I have had a number of obstacles in my path, some health issues, some money issues ($1500 worth of brake repairs on my Highlander, for one), and now my recording engineer is moving to Ohio, so I have recordings of only half the CD (and one or two of those probably should get re-done. So I'm sort of treading water, looking for a new studio to record at, and dealing with things like chronic rhinitis (and no one wants a singer who sniffles between verses and coughs on choruses, for sure). I'm still planning on getting this done (and I owe a house concert to one backer, to boot).
The only good thing to come of this delay is a new song that will now be the centerpiece of the project. It's a true story dating from WWII, and I've already been asked if some good friends (touring musicians with a decent following) can record it.
So the project is in "re-grouping" mode, but far from dead.

So, Bob--If we keep the dollars coming above $975, can you do more? Please advise. Can't wait to hear the result. --Annie
