Update #2: We have reached our goal!

Posted on September 25, 2010

Thanks to each of your donations, Conflict Kitchen has successfully reached its goal of $4,000!

These funds will allow us to launch our Afghan iteration of Conflict Kitchen. There are still 4 more days to go, and we are hoping to reach a new goal of $5,000 by September 30, when the pledge drive will end.

Keep spreading the word to your friends and family. If you live in Pittsburgh, don't forget to drop by for a kubideh sandwich before we close Kubideh Kitchen! Soon, we will change to Bolani Pazi and will serve four different tasty bolani, a sort of savory Afghan turnover. Stay updated by visiting our blog at: www.ConflictKitchen.org.

Again, thank you for all your generosity,
Conflict Kitchen

this is a great project - has such potential to open people's minds through their stomachs!!! thank you so much and i'm happy to be a small part of backing you all. i only wish it were in a city close to me (i live in the san francisco bay area). maybe you'll expand someday - anyway, i am a vegan and was very pleased to see that you mention the vegan bolani as part of the menu. right on!!!!!!

Update #1: Another Way to Help

Posted on September 18, 2010

Dear supporters,

Thank you for your help and generosity with Conflict Kitchen's pledge drive. We currently have 43 backers and $987 raised, however we are only a quarter of the way towards our $4,000 goal. With only 11 days left, we urge you to spread the word to your friends about our drive, before it's too late!

Facebooking, Twittering, or whatever it may be, we hope that you can share our cause with your network and help ensure that our project will continue with its next stages. Below is a link to our Kickstarter campaign that you can post and share:
