Hot Flashes-Cold Showers is a collection of essays about life's unbidden teaching moments. I hope to make it a book.
I've written these essays over many years of life as a single mother working in a conservative world, and living a double life at home. Humor is my favorite coping tactic, so I've applied it to most of these essays. I want to share them with others in book form because they illustrate how life teaches us important lessons when we're least expecting them.
My plan is to develop illustrations with the help of a real artist; to edit the essays for their universality and publish the book.
The money will pay an illustrator, an editor and a book agent and/or publisher to make the dream reality.
