
Hybrid autobiographical documentary narrative film in which a young Asian filmmaker attempts to understand his identity through cinema
Ghosts of the California Sun is a semi-autobiographical film project consisting of video diaries shot in HD DSLR Video and Super 8 film, which examine Asian American masculinity in a road trip up the California Coast.
The Stops: Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Santa Cruz, Pigeon Point, Half Moon Bay, San Francisco, Camping in Marin county and north along the coast, then back down hitting Monterrey and Los Angeles before getting home to San Diego.
