Jeans coming off the line and I am heading to the post office.  Have a good weekend everyone...

Bags are done and will be mailed/delivered shortly. Its time to get on with the jeans.  If you aren't in the area and I can't measure you up here is what I need from you.  Tried to make this as simple as possible.  If you don't have a tape measure (construction one will work fine,) use a piece of string and measure it with a yard stick or something.  If you need more help than what I describe below just shoot me an email at aaron@atlarchive.com.  It may be easiest if you take a fit that you like and just measure them up.  I will send out a survey after this to everyone that got jeans asking for these 8 measurements.  Lets do this in inches people, or give me fair warning if you are getting metric on me....

In order of appearance.

THE WAIST - keep this one tight to the skin...  the tighter the better as everything does stretch a little...  Be sure to button em up before you do the measurement so you don't get the extra overlap in the measurement...

FRONT RISE - Front top to crotch seam....

BACK RISE - Back top to crotch seam....

HIPS - Generally the widest part or halfway through the fly....

LENGTH - Outer seam from top to bottom...

HIPS - Two inches down from the crotch inseam, straight across...

KNEE - the knee width...

ANKLE - the ankle opening...

A dozen small totes done, almost done with the bigger ones as well, then its on to jeans.  I decided not to grade my pattern and make patterns for everyone and have them on the shelf.  So still need to send instructions on what i need for the jeans awards.  Expect that soon.  The machines are great, huge time savers....
