Thanks Nina, yesterday I found 4 intact books (2 signed :-)) in my mail box in countryside Sweden. One gone to a friend that has a birthday today, one for me and the others will find their owners soon.
I saw that, Alexander! ;-) Thank you.
6999 was driving me nuts, so raised my pledge by $1 to break 7K
Increased my pledge from $25 to $50, I absolutely want a signed copy!
Plus a little stash of minibooks I can give away will be nice too.
Sita Sings the Blues was so awesome. I love it when someone takes ancient epics and gives them a new twist (when it's well produced, anyway, 'Troy' wouldn't count). I loved it so much I bought two DVDs as gifts.
Thanks Crystal!
Hey Nina. Not only do I love the project (and am looking forward to receiving my own copy), but I'm encouraged by your overall message. It's really refreshing to see other creators/artists taking on all the arbitrary--and often bureaucratic--legalities that hurt, rather than protect, the arts. Bravo. Something tells me that questioncopyright.org will be one of my new favorite websites.
Thanks Mark! And thanks everyone for supporting this project. I'm researching printers right now. If anyone knows a great offset printer, please let me know.
Loved "Sita Sings the Blues" and can't wait to see the minibook! Nice work.
