We finally have an IMDB page for the film. I am very excited about this. Still waiting on word from the Marfa Film Festival but no matter what they say I have a feeling its going to premiere in Marfa sometime this year.

Hello Everyone,

Its been a while since I've sent an update. This is the year for ROYAL CROWN AND A MOON PIE! The film is finished except for some cosmetic touches and I have so far submitted it to 2 festivals in Texas. The first one is called RxSM and is held in Austin, TX at the same time as SXSW (the way Slamdance is to Sundance). The second one is in April in Victoria, TX. I will also be sending out to the Marfa Film Festival which will finally be happening again, this time the last week in June. I am looking for more festival to submit to and will update you when we are accepted.

Still waiting to find out about SXSW but am sending the film off to Tribeca tomorrow!

The Film is finished (well, it still needs audio mix and color correcting) and in the mailbox at South by Southwest! In the next couple of weeks I will be sending it off to a few more film festivals (Houston's Worldfest, Tribecca and the LA Film Festival). Thanks again to everyone who believed enough in me to give me the money to finish this! I think you all will be very happy with the results. Now let's hope we hear from SXSW soon! They begin letting people know in December with the very latest date being Feb 9.

So I am spending all of October in an effort to finally get this film completed and submitted for viewing at SXSW next year. Its going to be a lot of work but I am buckling down and going to get it done!
