Judy makes film and art in all variety of genres, simply because she loves making stuff. She is a student at Northwestern University and a Korean American. She likes delicious things and collects cameras and plastic sunglasses.
Congratulations on a successful funding! I hope the project is going great!
This documentary might be the small, but very significant footstep to change some history later on. gluck with the documentary shooting in Korea.
Best of luck, Judy. Can't wait to see the finished film. :)
I wish I could help you with this project - too bad i don't get to go back to Korea this summer. Good luck. Turn this one into a huge impact on the society as well as on yourself. Have fun!
Best wishes to you and your group. I am looking forward to viewing your work and learn more about an aspect of Korean education. Have a fruitful and safe summer!
I'm very pleased that you makes a documentary about an education issue of Korea. Some people may think that a Korean education system is excellent in that every students (and their parents) are strongly motivated by academic excellence. However, I feel uncomfortable with those perspectives because most of students are under tremendous stress caused by extreme competition in school. Additionally, it seems totally absurd that the result of one exam (Sooneng) can determine one's future. Thus, I believe that introducing the reality of education in Korea will be a very meaningful work. I willingly support your work and expect a good documentary film. Good luck.
