What would you say to your seven-year-old self?
The Film:
Elizabeth Lightly is the story of a young woman who visits her past selves. She plays in the park with her 7-year-old self. Grabs a cup of coffee with herself at 18 years old.
It’s an experimental short film which explores the ideas of mortality, magic, and nostalgia. The film is very fluid and dreamy, and we will use in-camera tricks, as well as editing techniques in post to enhance the dreamlike quality of the film.

Honestly, you should be added to that filmmakers list, because without you this film will not get made! On top of funding equipment, locations, and art for the film, we also need to feed the filmmakers and rent trucks/vans to bring the crew and equipment to our New Jersey location.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
The biggest challenge right now is fundraising. Simply put, without your help the film will not get made.
There's also casting, which is incredibly important in this film. Finding talented actors who not only look similar but will be able to have the chemistry needed for this film will certainly be a difficult task -- one the filmmakers are excited to tackle.
Probably the most terrifying risk, is getting everyone on the same page. You need to make sure the crew, the cast, the locations, the food, the lodging are all available on those five days of shooting. You need to have the equipment ready and accounted for, the props, the costumes, the makeup -- there is so much to organize and keep track of!! It's important to have trusty, creative people working with you on a project like this and luckily, we have some of the most talented people working on this film.
