ICE Magazine is the world's most accepting zine, publishing written and traditional art, crafts, opinions, and more. Made by hand!
ICE is an extremely small, limited run magazine that is trying to get started from nothing and become, well… whatever it becomes. We are looking for people to submit pretty much anything they want that’s cool, hence the name ICE. We want to see your traditional art, doodles, comics, photography, architecture sketches, short stories, personal essays, poetry, novel excerpts, reviews about anything from books to movies to events , as well as opinions, editorials, rants and raves. When submitting to ICE, we only ask that you follow one rule: Make it interesting. Write about your dog licking himself, as long as it’s interesting.
As of right now, it would be best to either submit graphic art in black and white, or expect it to be. As we grow, we may find that donations are up enough to use a big boy printing service and get ICE in color.
And we need help. We need starting funds to get it going strong. With a $100, we can print 400 copies of the magazine. That's pretty cool, right?
So please, help us find a way to turn the coolest magazine that doesn't exist yet into something incredible.
Thank you so much for reading, and follow us on tumblr at icezine.tumblr.com and submit to subs.at.ice@gmail.com.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
There are really very little risks involved for most donators. The minimum donation amount is just a buck, and even if the project falls flat, you're still going to get a copy of the magazine. Believe it or not, the cost of a dollar actually allows me to make 4 copies of the magazine. I only ask for a buck because I have to include shipping. If you totally commit and donate the full hundred or maybe two, then I can also guarantee you receiving what you paid for.
The only challenge now is getting it done. I have to get the money and print, and after 400 copies, who knows how much my library may like me? It doesn't really matter though. What matters is that my people, the readers, are happy.
