We have a two week time frame for the 1st ever Gloria Dei Montessori Band Camp, starting July 9th through July 20th. 

The band camp is available to all students regardless of age or musical experience. The younger kids that have no experience or particular interest in learning instruments will be divided into a group that will focus on original compositions written by them and featuring voice and rhythmic instruments. The older kids with or without musical experience that want to learn about songwriting, playing instruments and performance will learn this throughout the camp. They will also write and perform their own original music.

 We will have at least four music instructors teaching drums, bass, guitar, piano, horns, singing and songwriting. There will be one instructor, Ray Two Crows, that will focus and work with the younger kids.

Each group will learn to write their own songs and the ensembles will resemble blues, folk and rock and roll bands.

We have the curriculum worked out and details to implement our goals, now we need the money!

1. Offer some compensation to the instructors

2. Repair donated instruments and purchase some new ones

3. Rent the semi-formal recital hall for the final performance of the students upon completion of the camp.
