Well, it's finally happened.  You'll have your rewards in a matter of weeks, and we're less than a month away from releasing BELONG TO THE LAND.

And, as you're probably sick of hearing by now, we couldn't have done it without your help.  THANK YOU.

We've received addresses and so forth from some of you, but still need info from most of you. We've just sent a simple survey that you can fill out so we can ship you your rewards.  If you've already sent the info (address, t-shirt sizes, whatever's applicable), no need to resend. We won't be messaging you via Kickstarter anymore, but we've taken the liberty of adding you all to our mailing list so we can stay in touch.  (If you're sick of getting messages from us, all you need to do is click "unsubscribe" when you receive your first newsletter.  No hard feelings.)

We were at it again earlier this month up at our favorite upstate recording studio, The Clubhouse. Tim Heck joined us once again on sleigh bells/thumb piano/socket wrench/goat hooves, and a 24-hour bender of vocals (there are so many vocals!) whipped us into shape for our upcoming shows back in NYC... we shook off our winter break sleepies and really got a lot done. An exciting development that's come out of the recording process is that Jim Bertini, our sound engineer, also happens to be one of the greatest drummers in human history. He's joined us on stage for our live shows recently and we can't say how fortunate we are to be playing with him.

Looking ahead: Graham Galatro, our producer, just finished a second round of mixes and the man continues to astonish us with his patience, keen ear, and generosity. We've got just a few loose ends to tie up recording-wise, and it's going to happen here at home: in the streets, in the park, in our apartments, and even our live shows (you might just hear yourself on the LP). We've begun to shop around for mastering engineers, the album art continues to roll in (got ideas? don't be shy!), and our goal is still to share all the winter's work with you just in time for the cherry blossoms to bloom.

In the meantime, we're thrilled to announce our first show at KNITTING FACTORY BROOKLYN this Thursday! It's a great venue (one that's been a goal for some time) so we'd love to see you there. If you can't make it, we'd love it if you told your friends! Tickets are on sale HERE.
