Update #4: Plan B

Posted 6 days ago

Dear friends,

Again, thanks so much for you support at the beginning of the year!  Since this project was not completely successful, I've decided to try a different approach to raising the funds necessary to achieve these goals.  I hope to produce up to 3 smaller, niche-market concerts over the remainder of this year to try and raise the funds that way.  The first of those concerts will be a Juneteenth Concert on June 23, 2012 in Pasadena, CA.  Information can be found at https://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/250233.

I hope you will continue to renew your support for me and this effort by attending one or more of these events!  Thanks!

Update #3: THANK YOU!!!

Update #2: FINAL PUSH

Posted on February 13

Again, a HUGE THANK YOU to all who have pledged so far!

We are down to the final day and still have a fairly long way to go.  BUT, the pledges are still coming in, so only time will tell...

Special thanks go out to those of you that have been helping to spread the word through your email, workplaces, personal Facebooks and Twitters, etc.  That has had a much larger impact on this campaign than I would have ever imagined.  Keep it up!  I intend to fight until the end!
