Thank you for your kind words. I'm sure whoever moved in afterward was pleasantly surprised. (How can you not?!) Thank you for generous contribution; I will make every effort to reciprocate the sentiment with your reward! Once again; thank you very much!

Awsome project! I miss my Kotatsu. I had to leave it behind when I left my appartment in Sendai, the winters there were bitter cold. I hope who ever moved in after me enjoyed it as much as i did.

Is that so? It seems we share a similar level of affinity for a kotatsu!
Please be sure to take a look at my blog for a more comprehensive look at this project and the details therein: http://ibuildkotatsu.wordpress.com/about/
Thank you again for your contribution, I will strive to exceed your expectations!
Best Regards,
Edgar

I like this. My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in an onsen ryokan in Shizuoka in 2006
during the Winter break; the kotatsu in the room (also made of wood) was the third best
thing of the trip after the hot springs and the food. We liked it so much that we asked
the concierge if she would sell it to us, she apologized saying it was not for sale.
