Blind Spot is a thrilling, hilarious, romantic, suspenseful dramedy about two teenage brothers who end up in an out-of-control game.
Welcome to the page for our upcoming film, Blind Spot! My name is Will Ilgen, and as the writer/director of the project, everything my cast and crew will be going through in the next several months will be entirely my fault. My team of supremely talented young filmmakers is ready to tackle this production (the largest we've attempted), but we need your help. Your donation will ensure the quality and completion of our project. Now for a bit about myself, I'm an undergraduate of the USC School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles and this summer I've come back to the Bay Area to do what I do best: make great movies. I have won several awards for my film work over the years, including the College of San Mateo's Spotlight! Award for Best Directing in 2009. Everyone involved in this new film has extensive experience in student filmmaking, acting, or both. Blind Spot has been conceived on a scale that will prove a logistical and creative challenge we can't wait to face, and if you'd like to help us face it we will be very grateful for any donation you send our way. Your contribution will provide us with bigger and better opportunities to tell our story and you'll receive a unique reward (just on the right of the page) for your generosity. From the entire Blind Spot team, thank you for visiting us and we look forward to showing you the final product, and thanking you for helping us make it happen!
Blind Spot is a thrilling, hilarious, romantic, suspenseful dramedy film about two teenage brothers named Reg Zimmerman and Slim Zimmerman. The Zimmermans are unlike any other young men in their quiet home of Brickdale, CA. They’re private eyes. And they’re very good at their game. So good that even when a dangerous, mysterious girl from their past named Justine returns to Brickdale with a job, they don’t hesitate to take it up. Justine’s latest beau is the solitary, world-traveling prodigy Jericho – and he’s shacking up with another woman. Sounds like business as usual for the (in)famous Zimmerman Boys, but they quickly find themselves ensnared in an out-of-control con game in which no one can be trusted and all loyalty is up for grabs. Blind Spot is a deeply personal reflection of life and cinema, a celebration and critique of classical Hollywood.
Hey there! My name is Adam Rei Siegel and I'm one of the producers for this project. Much like Will, I am also an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Throughout our first year there, Will and I both learned about professionalism and efficiency in the entertainment industry through student, independent and big-budget film experience. With our dedicated cast and crew, we hope to have the financial means to use these newly acquired skills to complete Will's vision. With your help at any level, we can truly show our suburb of Pleasanton what a real movie process is like. Thank you for your time and support.
Hello, my name is Olivia Andrus and I'm another producer on this amazing project. I'm an undergraduate at Purdue University studying Wildlife and Film/Video Studies with Theater. I've been making films with Will since the 8th grade and out of all the scripts Blind Spot has been one of the best. It will take you on an exciting ride and keep you guessing at every turn. We are all ecstatic to do this film, however we need your help. We need you to help us make our dreams come to life, believe me this movie is worth it. Thank you!
