Hello, all!

For those backers, who are in the $20, $40, and $60 pledge brackets, a survey has just been sent out asking for which performance you'd like to use your ticket(s) on.  Also, for the backers in the $60 bracket, please specify your T-shirt size in your respective survey.  Even if you have volunteered your information already, please fill out the survey as well.  Please have your surveys in by 5:00 pm on Sunday, April 22.

We're so close to reaching our $3,000 goal for producing Studio 301's RENT at UC Davis -- 48 generous people have donated 83% of our goal, with nine days to go.

That said, we would like to offer a special incentive for our present backers.  Starting at 10 a.m. tomorrow (Wednesday, April 4), if you add $3 to your present pledge, you will receive a bonus gift as a "thank you" from our cast.  BUT -- this offer is only good until 10 a.m. on Thursday (April 5), only 24 hours! 

Once again, thank you all for your support, and we will see you in the theatre.

We have fourteen days to meet our goal of raising $3,000 toward Studio 301's production of RENT at UC Davis, and we are almost 75% of the way funded! So many thanks go out to the 39 friends, family members, colleagues, and even just well-wishers who have pledged $2,208 over the past 46 days.

All of the actors, designers, stage managers, producers, and directors here at Studio 301 are getting ready to embark upon rehearsals, with our first rehearsal on Sunday, April 1. We are looking forward to an enjoyable and enlightening process that will culminate in our eight performances, running from May 10 to May 20. And we are looking forward to seeing you in the audience!

As I'm sure you can see as well, we have also had our first publicity photoshoot for RENT. A small taste of these great pictures can be seen as our Kickstarter cover page, featuring Michael Roscoe as Roger and Malia Abayon as Mimi. Very special thanks go out to photographers Uyen Cao and Andrew Kam, and Studio 301 publicity designer Stephanie Moore – as well as all the staff at Burgers and Brew in Davis for being so kind and obliging in letting we theatre folk take pictures in their restaurant.

In these final two weeks of fundraising on Kickstarter, we wish to encourage all of you to continue spreading the word to friends, family, co-workers, and anyone else you know who may be interested in supporting the arts in Davis. If we keep going at the rate we have been, we should have no trouble in meeting our goal...but we can only do it with your help!
