An exhibit where a gallery is an experimental cultural hub for a month. It features a deli, visiting artists, music, & loads more!

The Speakeasy is an exhibition co-curated by the Bread Boys that will expose dialogue driven art practice by transforming a gallery space into an experimental cultural center. The space that will be converted is the Charlotte Street Foundation’s La Esquina Gallery in Kansas City, Missouri, and the exhibit will be open from April 6th until May 13th. Drawing from the model of World Pavilions, The Speakeasy will not be a static exhibition, but instead facilitate a series of culturally oriented events such as one night exhibitions, visiting artists, moderated conversations, live music, a poetry book publishing launch party, a deli, a food truck, a tear drop trailer that hosts workshops, & much more!
