"The life of a puppet isn't all it's cracked up to be.  We may be supposedly "EQUAL", but that doesn’t mean that there isn't still a world full of hate.  Sometimes I think maybe I have nothing left but that anger, driving me. My family was taken from me, pulled from my life and leaving nothing behind but regret. I'm done playing safe. Wuzzle's dead kid..."

Last year we made a short film, called The Fuzz, a dark cop buddy film directed by Josh Martin & T.S. Anderson. It stars Grant Carter, Tiffany Coryell, Leon Salem and Ben Fuzzman (Playing the tormented Wuzzle), the former kid-tv star, turned hard-nosed police detective set in '79 San Angeles. 

Ben Fuzzman had it all; a loving wife, three kids, and his very own syndicated television program Wuzzle. As the stresses of life and the hardships of being a minority in an unpleasant time of prejudice, Ben pushed someone, and they pushed back.  

Now, he's trying to find the man who brutally killed his family, and bring him to justice, with or without the help of his distant partner, Chase Slater (Grant Carter), his prejudice boss Chief Campbell (Leon Salem), and the officer who's madly in love with him, Officer Lisa (Tiffany Coryell). Will he be able to find the clues that finally bring his family justice?

This film was created for the 48 Hour Film Project (www.48hourfilm.com) and we are anxious to take the story further.  We have a great cast and crew that love this show and we look forward to putting out at least an episode a month.  The shows will be between 10-15 minutes each.  

The money will be used to create the pilot episode, which will be about 30 minutes long. It will be used to rent the equipment, secure locations, props, pay our actors and crew for their time, meals, and gas, and hosting and promoting the series. We are willing to invest our time and all of our energy into creating this charmingly dark and clever story.

We are lucky enough to have a very dedicated crew that really loves this show (and of course Ben) and are willing to work for the love of it, allowing us to get started for a reasonable cost.  

This story idea is a breath of fresh air in an otherwise stale market. We have a great team of writers that have many other films under their belts including T.S. Anderson (tsanderson.com), Josh Martin, and Charles Dickens.
