My name is Quencie and I host Studio Q, an internet, entertainment show and podcast that features News on Entertainment, Views on Pop Culture, and Interviews with Celebrities.  I have been one of Whitney Houston's biggest fans since I was 12 years old so, it is an understatement to say that I was truly devastated when she passed away on February 11, 2012.  Whitney has been an inspiration to me throughout my entire childhood, and her music was/is the soundtrack to my life.  The way fans scream and obsess over Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga, is how I felt about Whitney Houston growing up. 

I wanted to sing like Whitney, dress like Whitney, and be like Whitney - she was my childhood idol.  My only dream was to meet the legendary singer. Years later, that dream became a reality in the form of my first national TV interview on an MTV show called “FANatic." 

Whitney personally chose me to conduct the interview with her, and as one of her biggest fans, it was beyond amazing.  Because Whitney Houston has impacted my life in such a major way, I wanted to interview other people whose life she has impacted as well.  It is my way of paying homage to not just "The Voice,” but the woman behind “The Voice.”

Your generous donations will provide Studio Q with the opportunity to pay special tribute to Whitney via a web series of interviews.  We will talk to special guests who were close to Whitney and spent quality time with her.  They will share never before told stories detailing their fond memories with Whitney.  The funding of this web series will cover the production costs to create the tribute, which include: filming, editing, travel, sound, lighting, graphics, and securing interview venues.  In exchange for your generosity towards this project, we have some amazing rewards for you!

Studio Q is an internet, entertainment show and radio podcast hosted and produced by Quencie Thomas, and co-produced by Tam Anderson. 

The show features News on Entertainment, Views on Pop Culture, and Interviews with Celebrities.  Studio Q was created as a weekly, public access talk show that focused on interviews within the music and entertainment industry.  It premiered in the fall of 2000 in Springfield, Decatur, Champaign, and Peoria, Illinois.  In 2004, when Quencie moved from the Midwest to Hollywood, Studio Q transitioned into an internet talk show, and Radio Podcast with a Facebook fan page, a YouTube channel, and a featured home on Quencie.com
