About this project
Our Goal:To make a Christian film that’s highly entertaining, honest about life and faith, with a redemptive ending.
Why We’re Doing It
The main reason is because we love movies – especially those that are inspiring. However, it seems that many of the movies produced today leave us discouraged, depressed or cynical. Our desire is to do the exact opposite. We want our audience not only to be entertained, but to be inspired as the credits roll. With the overwhelmingly positive feedback the script has received from producers and directors from Hollywood and New York – we have a script that will do just that!
Where We Are In Production
The talented entertainment professionals associated with this project are incredible. Our production team has experience with companies such as CBS, Warner Brothers, Discovery Channel, BBC, Nickelodeon, Disney and Starz. Our team also has experience with TV shows such as Army Wives, 90210, Desperate Housewives, The Jay Leno Show AND feature films - such as The Notebook and Die Hard with a Vengeance - just to name a few!
On top of this: we have an army of volunteers eager to help make this movie a reality!
Movie Synopsis
Victor seems to have it all together – good looks, his own brand and marketing company, and life in L.A. But appearances can be deceiving, because in reality, he’s broke, living out of his van, $93,000 in debt and still looking for the ever elusive purpose of his life.
Pop, an elderly African American friend from the past, offers Victor his only choice – to come back home. Yet, home is a tattered trailer park in the South, which is full of bad memories and broken relationships.
Once home, Victor discovers that he must deal with his volatile past before he can move toward his promising future. Through the story’s inspiring ending of reconciled relationships and realized dreams, we are reminded that every life has a God-given purpose and when we find that purpose we dance.

What happens if you don’t raise $50,000 in time?
Sadly - nothing. If the goal isn’t met by the deadline, no money changes hands and the movie isn’t made. Please help us avoid this scenario.
Will I lose my donation if the goal is not met?
No. Credit cards are only charged if the goal is met.
Can you exceed your $50,000 goal?
Yes! And we hope we do. The more funds that are raised the better the film will be.
Is my personal information safe if I donate online?
Yes. Kickstarter uses Amazon for all payment transactions, thus your personal information is safe and secure.
Where does the money go?
Every cent (except the fees to Kickstarter) will go directly to the movie budget.
Can I increase my pledge once it’s been made?
YES! To do so, go to the Redemption of the Commons campaign page on Kickstarter and sign in. Click on the blue “Manage Your Donation” button, and you can enter a new amount.
Can I receive a tax benefit if I donate to the project?
This film is not set up as a non-profit so gifts by an individual are not tax deductible. However, businesses may receive a tax benefit for their contribution if allocated as an advertisement expense. Consult your CPA for details.
If I donate, when can I redeem the incentive?
All incentives will be available only if our goal is met and distributed after the film is released.

KT Terry earned his Film Degree from the University of North Carolina and his experience includes companies such as CBS, MTV, Discovery Channel and the TV Guide Channel.
As a screenwriter, KT has proven his ability to craft compelling stories as well as create captivating characters. His previous script Masada, was contracted and under consideration by producers at Fox Studios and New Line Cinema.
His latest script, Redemption of the Commons has received high praise from producers and writers in New York and Hollywood stating, “Wow, this story is exactly what I’m going through. I want to see this movie.” “I LOVE IT!” “Great work! This script is excellent.”
