Update #5: New Maté Product - Lemon Elation

Hey All,
So I've got some good news and some bad news...
First, the bad news. There's 16 days left on the Great Maté Journey and we're not quite to the funding goal...
The good news is that there are 16 days left and we're going to get to the funding goal. I have a few new twists I'm going to throw into the GMJ to make it extra cool (more to come in the next few days). For now, I've got an awesome update for everyone.
A few days ago, I went sailing with my homeboy Matéo from Guayaki Yerba Maté. Not only did we fire up a gourd of maté on the boat (has that ever even happened before??) but Maté hooked me up with a case of the new Guayaki Lemon Elation.
If nothing else, this project has been an interesting conversation piece for me. I've gotten a ton of people interested in maté and Kickstarter and the idea of crowd-funding, all good things in my world. Many people I've talked to have gone on to try maté (and Kickstarter) for the first time. A lot of people really love it, but some don't; some folks just don't like the flavor.
Well..........
Lemon Elation is AMAZING! Anyone who hasn't liked the flavor will love this stuff. I've already given my entire case away and everyone is loving it. The people I've given it to have already gone out to buy more, and most of these people had tried and weren't into hot maté. Give this stuff a shot, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

I'm David Lang. I was born and raised in snowy Minnesota and currently live on my sailboat in the San Francisco Bay. I've been an avid Yerba Maté drinker for nearly 6 years. My dad, an enlightened man, taught me everything I know about Maté (which is about as much as anyone else in Minnesota.) Yerba Maté is the official drink of Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. It's a delicious, energy-packed dose of straight-up health, and rightfully considered the "Drink of the Gods." It's my personal mission to travel to South America to find the world's greatest Yerba Maté to bring back and share with the good people of Minnesota. The journey will not be easy, but somebody has to do it...
