Kickstarter

I am truly overjoyed at the amount of support this project has!  The project is showing 107 backers  (I'm told it's actually 113, counting people who have sent in checks) from all over the world!  The project is 105% funded (yeah!). 

For my part, I've been listening to the recording of NCP's wonderful performance of my "Ashfall" from their April 15th concert.  I've also been listening to WQXR's Q2 stream (NYC public radio stream dedicated to new music) and to many of my favorite chamber music recordings.  I'm doing this as part of my planning to produce this recording.  As I go back to that performance of "Ashfall" I am more and more confident that this is going to be a great recording.  As strong as the Nebraska connection is, the Players are going to make a project that transcends the Nebraska borders.  I'm confident these tracks-to-come will be enjoyed worldwide and often. 

I can't express how honored I am that they have chosen my music as a vehicle to do this.
