After painting for more than 20 years, it's time to take this body of work into a public forum. People don't want to come to my house.
Help with my first major show outside of my house :-)
This show will showcase art, poetry,
photography and music that has been
cultivated over the last 20 years.
Goals for success
- materials to make larger and smarter works. (panels, ink,paint, brushes)
- rent a gallery for 10 days
- create venue for artist reception
- promote the exhibition with flyers, newspaper, radio and facebook advertising
- make connections and incrase visibility in the international art community
Current situation
- lives in Boston, MA. Works and creates paintings in a small home studio. Currently shows in small venues, community shows and on facebook. I have only my studio helpers to keep me company.
My small studio has been both a sanctuary and a place of frustration over the years. The tears are evidence of my journey. I'm ready to put it all out there.
By pledging at the $5000 level and above, you are reserving and purchasing an original abstract painting that will be unveiled at the show. (20 new originals will be available on first come first served basis)
This Kickstarter fundraiser is all or nothing: if we don't reach our goal, we will not receive any of the donations pledged and your credit card will not be charged. If we do reach our goal (and I hope we do!) your credit card will be charged on August 26th when the campaign ends. To the right you'll find a list of rewards for different levels of pledges. I've worked my whole life doing the corporate thing and am now pursuing my passions of writing, painting and making music. I'm supposed to be a great mom and great wife, so that's what I did. I need your help to keep this new passion alive. No regrets just an open mind for the future.
