From my earliest memories, I am happiest when I write original music. Most of my childhood piano lessons quickly derailed into songs I'd written instead of the assigned music. From piano to guitar, every band I participated in, I served as the chief originator of hooky guitar licks and melodic lines, however, I did not consider myself an actual songwriter. Now, I'm finally recording my first solo album of all original music. And I want YOU to be apart of it.

Recording 12 songs for an album is fairly cheap. 

Here is a breakdown of the budget $13,500 budget: 

$8,500 Recording studio costs -12 days of recording and mixing

1,500 Professional musicians -Since I'm a solo artist, I'll need to hire a drummer, bass player, etc. to fill out the music 

1,000 -Producer -This pays a producer. Someone who guides the project from start to finish ensuring the final product is commercially viable.

1,200 -Mastering -You can't do a record these days without mastering. Our own local SAE Mastering will be handling the fine sonic tuning of the album. They are most known for handling the Death Cab for Cutie's last three records.

500 duplication - This ensures 100 Physical copies of the album exist in a 1 fold eco-wallet cover disk. Physical copies will be used mainly for promotion, as the majority of album sales will exist on iTunes. 

800 -Incidental costs. Because sometimes strings break, sessions go longer, etc...
