Update #3: Thank You!

Posted on November 26, 2011

Thanks to everyone who helped us not just meet but exceed our goal! You guys rock! Our plan is to use the money to pay for the show, maybe spend a bit at the after party on the day of our opening, and then whatever is left over we'll be donating to WFMU, so you've not just helped us but the station too!

We're focused on preparing for the show now, but as soon as the opening is over we will return to the kickstarter campaign and make sure we get your rewards mailed out as soon as possible. We'd love to see everyone at the opening, of course, and if you gave $100 or more and are getting an exhibition print you can pick it out then. If you can't make it, we'll get you .jpgs of all the photos and you can pick whichever one you want. Thanks again, and I hope to see everyone on December 3!

Update #2: Almost there

Posted on November 18, 2011

Hey! We're funded! Thanks to everyone who contributed. We're really excited about the show and the final pieces are coming into place. Curator Dave has our photos and we'll be making the final decisions about what will go in the show this weekend.

Update #1: Getting close

Posted on November 11, 2011

Hi folks! Well we're just about two weeks away from the show, and getting close to our fund raising goals. Thanks to everyone who has contributed. This week we'll be working with our curator, Dave LaMorte to decide which photos we'll be using. Very exciting!

Putin level - For $100, a patron will receive an exhibition print of his or her choice. These signed photographs will be welcome additions to any discerning art-lovers collection, and are sure to at least maintain value over the coming years, until the arrival of our impending Mad Max-style post apocalyptic future, at which point they can either be placed in altars and worshiped as vengeful gods and granters of good fortune, or used as valuable tinder during a cold nuclear winter night.

Estimated Delivery: Dec 2011

Broadcasting weekly since June 2010, Thunk Tank is a radio show aiming to violate the false dichotomy between jokes and serious stuff. Within a single episode, topics may include recent art exhibitions or films, current events, interviews with authors and journalists, and lengthy expositions about the exploits of Vladamir Putin's menagerie of super-powered crime-fighting sentient pets.
