An Update from The Gathering
Hello all....the last of the cds and other backer rewards have gone out in the mail this week...if you don't see your package by Monday be sure to let me know, either here at the kickstarter message center or at my email, lgdossett@gmail.com
There is a lot of news....the premiere with the North Carolina Symphony went beautifully. And The Gathering CD -- which you so generously made possible -- has received some nice reviews:

We made it!!!! The Gathering reached the goal with a day or two to spare, thanks to your generosity.
And at the risk of overstating it, I would like to add that while your financial backing is so important and necessary, you have also given us such a sense of encouragement and community support. We feel like you want this project to succeed and that just makes us want to work harder and keep making music. You are our backers -- we feel like you've "got our back!"
So the deadline is today at 5 pm....at that point kickstarter lets me start collecting your addresses, etc. so I can get your rewards to you asap. I am here with envelope stacked, stamps licked, ready to go! And the cd is getting out to the public this week as well. I'll keep you posted on how it does.

We are almost there, the deadline is just one week away...and all of us involved in The Gathering project are really grateful for your generous support and hopeful about getting the record out there in November.
You have already done so much; if you have a minute more, think of a few music-loving friends and sent them the link. This is all word-of-mouth, email, facebook....grassroots.
The please-do-my-holiday-shopping-for-me reward has been really popular! And I want to call your attention again to the beautiful fine art prints of Kenneth Frazelle original watercolor, Lights in the Lowlands -- it would also make a great gift for the art lover on your holiday list.

Hotel and two premium tickets to see the premiere of "The Gathering: A Winter's Tale in Six Songs" with the North Carolina Symphony in Raleigh, NC. The concert program also includes Joe Newberry's "On This Christmas Day," Rhiannon singing a lovely version of "O Holy Night," and all of the orchestral wonders you would expect from the North Carolina Symphony. Friday, Nov 25th, 8 pm, Saturday Nov, 26th matinee, or Saturday, November 26th, 8 p.m. You choose which show.
