Kickstarter

Most of you have completed my project survey (thank you!), which requests information like your mailing and e-mail addresses; I'll need this information to send you rewards! If you haven't completed the survey, please do so as soon as possible.

I noticed right after I sent the survey that one of my questions does not make sense, and I apologize for the confusion. When I asked, "To whom would you like to dedicate the book?", I meant, when I sign your copy of the book, would you like me to sign it to you or someone else (if you're giving the book as a gift)? If you've already completed the survey and want me to sign the book to someone other than yourself, just send me a message on Kickstarter or an e-mail: lawirstiuk [at] gmail [dot] com.

Also, I've posted the names of everyone who has completed the survey on my website's "thank you" page!

I'm excited to announce that I'm almost completely done laying out the book! All I need to do is finish designing the table of contents and also write a questions/guidelines section for creative writing teachers and book clubs. Once I'm done with those things, I'll be able to save the book in the various e-book formats and start sending the digital version!

Charlotte Moo the Tiniest Dachshund™ is happy to report that her mom's book is going to be published, and she can't wait to destroy her very own copy with her teeth.

In just 15 short hours, my Kickstarter project will be funded thanks to all the generous people who contributed and supported me along the way!! When I broke $5,500 on Monday, I was relieved more than anything. I could finally get a decent night's sleep instead of constantly refreshing my e-mail to see if anyone new had pledged.

Once the project is funded, I'll be sending you what Kickstarter calls a "survey." It's basically just a request for your mailing address, e-mail, and any other information I'll need to make sure you get your reward(s).

In the meantime, please send me a word/phrase if you haven't already done so. All you have to do is send me a message with a word or phrase (5 words max.) you'd like me to include in a new story that will be published in The Prescribed Burn. Also, please tell me how you'd like your name to appear in the footnote. The deadline for this is TOMORROW so please send as soon as you can!
