Update #6: Killing the Kickstarter! (last reminder)

Posted on October 2, 2010

We are officially killing the Kickstarter TONIGHT! Please, if you've donated and haven't repledged your funds over to the new IndieGoGo page, please do. We need these contributions to make this happen! Thanks!

Update #5: Last Reminder

Posted on September 25, 2010

Hello,

This is going to be the last reminder I send for everyone who has given to our Kickstarter page. We've recently moved to IndieGoGo, a page almost identical to this, but that allows us to keep whatever we raise. So, we're trying to get everyone who has already given to our Kickstarter page to re-pledge that amount to the new page found here:

http://www.indiegogo.com/Billi-Theodore...

Now, you don't have to remove your pledge from this site because it will be deleted in the next week or so. Plus, Kickstarter hasn't taken any money from you to begin with. They only would have if we had hit our goal on the night of October 11th.

I hope this isn't a hassle to everyone and that you'll all still feel the passion for this project enough to take the time and make this change for us! We greatly appreciate all the support from everyone!

Thanks,
Ronald Short

Update #4: Killing the Kickstarter!

Posted on September 17, 2010

Hello all!

So, in the next couple of days, this Kickstarter page you see here will be gone. Through conversations with other film types and the fact that we're pushing our start date back just a little bit, it seems more viable to spend our time on a site that will let us KEEP whatever we raise and not one that will take it all away if we don't hit the goal by a certain date. That's why we're moving to Indiegogo! New link found here:

http://www.indiegogo.com/Billi-Theodore

It's essentially the same thing. Same perks, same description, same trailer. However, whatever amount we raise through the site will go towards the film to make a better product! None of this "all or nothing" crap. If I knew this other site existed before I started to try to raise funds, we would have started there. Better late than never, I suppose.

So, for all who have already given, I hope that you will take the time to "transfer" your amount to the other site. I would hate to lose the support we've already received on this site.

Sunday night, this Kickstarter will be gone.

Thanks to all who visited and have helped so far! Let's keep it up!

Update #3: New "Pitch" Trailer on Kickstarter!

Posted on August 27, 2010

Hello all,

So, the team at Short Pictures Independent, along with our leads and some actors around Austin, decided to put together a trailer for the film so people can get a better idea of what we're going for. Check it out on the main page!

That is all.
