About this project
Help us get this bird whipped into shape and ready for action!
We plan to take a 1976 Cadillac convertible, with a magnificent 25 foot giant steel chicken on top of it, outfit it with a heavy duty suspension, and bring this art car to Burning Man this year!
This whimsical "Giant Cock" will have a second floor deck with railings, and we plan to install an optimal sound system for a DJ !
The decorations include a dazzling array of colorful lights, two balls (disco balls) hangin and a big nest for it to sit in! We plan to construct tail feathers and side wings. We will make a fierce cock head complete with additional lights and sound effects too! We plan to cover the bird with a beautiful translucent skin and bright luminescence, which will mesmerize you!
This Giant Cock will be capable of driving around, spreading joy and wonder wherever it goes. It will certainly be a sight to behold! We need your help!
