Dear People,

I have been working long and hard on the film. I have arrived to a first-rough-cut. I will let it sit for some weeks in the hope that It will ferment. I'm not quite sure when the film will be ready, but I am getting there in a steady pace.

I made a 5 min. teaser, it has a great feel on the cut.  It has some new lovely music from composer Jorge Marrón. I would love to hear your impressions, to see if it resonates with you. I await your comments:

Querida Gente,

He estado trabajando duro en la película. He llegado a un primer corte crudo. Lo voy a dejar descansar durante unas cuantas semanas, con el deseo que se fermente un poco. No estoy muy seguro cuando estará terminada la película, pero voy a paso firme.

Hice un teaser (5 min), tiene una sensación similar a la del corte. Tiene nueva y bella música del compositor Jorge Marrón. Me encantaría escuchar sus impresiones, ver si se identifican con él. Espero sus comentarios:

      Extremely powerful. It draws you in and keeps you there. It feels appropriately painful but I hope there is at least some sense of redemption/healing by the time the final film comes to a close.

    I plan to premiere the film at a US Film Festival sometime next year. When I do, you will receive all of the rewards above plus I will reserve 2 tickets for you to the first screening of the film, guaranteed no matter where it plays. I would also like to invite you to my home in Oaxaca or Bolivia or Arizona so I may cook you one of three special dinners, get drunk with you, and talk about anything that inspires us. The dinners will be announced with the premiere details.
