Matthew Dressel ~ When the short film version of "Casting Kristin" premiered at a film festival in Michigan, it was the only film of 10 to receive applause. It was at that point I realized that I had hit on something special and knew I needed to expand on it. What made the short so special, which I would later carry on into the feature, was its ability to create a comedic scenario where anything could happen. Where people could sit back and just enjoy the wacky ride I would take my characters on, eager to see just how far things would go. And as a writer, it's always fun to see just how crazy you can make things, and even more fun to see the audience completely get into it. Simply put, "Casting Kristin" was a blast to write and it's even more fun to see people respond to it. I wrote it just for that reason; to make people LAUGH! It's definitely a page turner in that you just can't help but want to see what happens next. And when you do, it doesn't disappoint.

When I read the script I knew right away that people would want to see this movie. I had a small chat with Matt over email and expressed my enthusiasm for Casting Kristin, we met at a Starbucks in LA and the rest is history. WHY SHOULD YOU SPEND YOUR HARD EARNED CASH? Casting Kristin is a smart, feel good, clean comedy that will make you bust a gut from laughing. I think we all could use a little bit of that. It won't hurt you and you don't even have to leave your house to be a part of something that will touch others. Go ahead.....you know you want your name in the credits!
