We encourage you to sing along with us at our live shows, now we're inviting you to help us release our new record on CD and vinyl.
We spent most of 2010 recording, mixing and mastering our first full-length record, “A Past We Forget That We Need To Know”, right here in beautiful Providence, RI. We’ve been fortunate enough to fund the recording project, to this point, with money we’ve been paid from our live shows. However, it would take us another year to earn enough money to release the record on CD and vinyl, if we continue to follow this same path. We are really proud of this album and don’t want to wait that long to share these songs with you, so we’re making plans to release the record in early March and we’re asking for your help to make this happen. With this Kickstarter project we are able to offer you rewards like a download of the album before the official release date, test pressings of the record, music lessons with members of the band, and live performances in your living room or basement in exchange for your support.
We're teaming up with local artists to create some amazing and unique packaging including:
- Hand-screened CD cases
- 180-gram colored vinyl limited edition LP
- Limited edition SCC Crew Card Pack (pocket size version of our live show cue cards)
SCC is more than the people with the instruments, it also includes all of you singing along. SCC Crew are an important part of the music we make, and we see this as another way to do something together. Thank you for your past and continued support.
