The Kickstarter fundraiser of 30 days to raise $5,000 has come to a close, we are happy to announce that we have SUCCESS! The final tally: 90 Backers raising $5,615!! We couldn't have achieved this without all of you! Thank you for sending emails, posting updates on facebook, and for your generous donations! We will continue to update all of you about where we are in the process of the film. We would like to now invite all of you to our re-launch of our website www.dreamwithme.org. We have an on-going blog about what our filmmaking process as well as we want to hear from all of you! We have a section we will be launching next week called Stories from America's Classrooms. This is a place for you to share your experiences of education in America. We want to hear your story! And if you know anyone that missed out on the kickstarter fundraiser but would still love to support Dream with Me then please send them to our website where they can donate directly! October 5, 2009 (Los Angeles, CA) - Dream with Me – A Documentary About One Year in America’s Public Schools, will be featured on the Hollywood Dailies show on the REELZ Channel on October 8, 2009 at 4PM PST. Hollywood Dailies is known for their insightful stories that highlight the people who take movies from script to screen. This segment will focus on up and coming independent documentary filmmakers, Kimberly Goodman and Henri Hebert of FiveFold Productions and their inspiration and the challenges that surround making an eye-opening documentary about the American public school system.

“Dream with Me is an intimate portrayal of the public education system in America. We filmed for an entire school year in 3 public schools (elementary, middle, and high school) trying to discover what is really going on in the classrooms. Through the unprecedented cooperation from the schools, we were able to capture moments never before seen, “said filmmaker Henri Hebert. “While there have been numerous documentaries on education, no film to our knowledge has had such unrestricted access to classrooms, teachers, administrators, and students. So we feel we have something unique and special.”

We have exciting news! Our story has been picked up by the media! We will be a featured piece on the cable channel “REELZ Channel” starting on October 8th. They will be mentioning our fundraising efforts. The REELZ channel loved our introduction video we made for the kickstarter fundraising. The story will be about us being up-and-coming filmmakers with an inspirational documentary that needs help with funding. The piece will air on "Hollywood Dailies" at 4pm PST on REELZ Channel. It will air again that evening at 7pm, 10pm and the next day at 6am and 10:30pm PST.

We have received many incredible messages and comments about the impact our project is making. We have been working on this for over a year now with hardly any time off and now that we are putting our work out there, these inspiring messages mean a lot to us. We appreciate it.
