As a child I always easily amused by anything cute. I was always the kid with the Sanrio backpack and the matching binder with the pens. This carried on into my adult years and learning graphic design. In 2011 I launched my business: PaperPastels.com where I sold all sorts of 'kawaii' items from different brands. After some thinking I decided to close my store in order to establish my own PaperPastels brand.
So what am I doing?
The money raised from the will go into my store to allow me to bring all my designs to life and the materials for handmade products including soaps, makeup and my favorite--Beauty Pots! Also, I want to create around 50 types of acrylic charms. Now I imagine you all have some questions about the products themselves.
Acrylic Charms: Acrylic charms are heavy duty, full color, designs cut on 1/16" black acrylic. The unique method of creation makes these charms unlike anything offered on the market, a full-color, vibrant medium perfect to show off your artwork! The charms are completely waterproof, strong, and easy to clean if they become dirty. These full color plastic charms are perfect for turning into phone charms, rings, necklaces, hair clips, earrings etc. The possible creative applications are limited only by your imagination.
You will be able to select from various custom designs, I can make anything.
Beauty Pots: Beauty Pots are handmade, vegan, makeup products. I was inspired to create my own pots after years of using makeup with gross chemicals inside. You can use Beauty Pots as nailpolish, lipgloss, blush and several craft projects. Beauty Pots are safe to use in resin, and with clay. Each pot comes packaged individually and are available in 25 starter colors and glitters.
Packaging: A percentage of this money will also go into packaging, findings, sanitation and instructional materials to be included with the products. I want my products to be completely safe to use.
Rewards
All levels of pledges will receive a digital personal thank you from me on my website and a shoutout on my YouTube channel. Please be patient with the rewards as it may take me some time to go through all of the pledges if and when everything has been funded.
All levels of pledges above $25 will also receive a custom piece of jewelry made by me out of polymer clay.
