Man I hope people fall for this and give us lots of-- oh, is this on? Ahem.
Hey guys! For those of you who don't know us, we're Sarcasmo, a hip hop group consisting of rapper Lt Headtrip and DJ/producer Samurai Banana currently based in Astoria, NY. In the past 5 years, we and the Karma Kids Studios collective have put on scores of shows in basements and bars all over New York and also put out 4 full-length albums and 2 EPs for download. Our fans have shown us so much love over the years, attending concerts with dedication and screaming our lyrics with passion. With our new album, Cousin Id, we want to give them something special. So we're asking for money from them to fund it.
Basically, the point is, all our albums up to this point have been pretty poorly mixed and never properly mastered and certainly not packaged at all well. Let's be honest: our albums have been responsible for a ridiculous number of blown speakers. But we want to change all that; we are reformed and have been declared "competently sane" by state officials. Unfortunately, that's not all it takes: we need money to pay people who know more than us to get our music to sound as good to everyone as it already sounds to us. We also want to give people a beautiful finished product that they can hold in their hands, take home, frame and hang on the wall while they listen to the mp3.
All of this is gonna take a lot of money, but we're offering a lot of great rewards for your generosity. Any contribution helps us out so much, even a dollar, which, though unlisted, is good for ten (10) high-fives at occasions of your choice.
