I will record first full-length album this spring. All funds pledged toward my goal will go toward making the record a success!
Hello,
My name is Zach Tipton. You may or may not recognize my name from the musical acts I am the Dot and Young Coyotes. I have been making music for about a decade, releasing various LPs and EPs with different people, but I have never released a full record with songs written solely by me. I spent a year writing my first full-length record, and I need YOUR help to fund the process. This includes recording, mixing, mastering, new guitar strings and broken drumsticks. Many unforeseen events during the recording process happen as well. I still don't know what to call the project yet as I will no longer use I am the Dot as my moniker. The name will most likely arise suddenly and spontaneously, like all things. All money raised beyond my goal will go towards promoting the record. (This includes music videos, publicity, cool rock star haircuts, and so on.) I make most of my videos and music for next to nothing, and I can assure you that every dollar raised will be put to good use.
I will use $2,000 for all recording and mixing fees, $1,000 for mastering, and $1,000 for vinyl pressing. The rest goes to fees associated with using this great website.
