It's been a hectic four months, (and many sleepless nights) but I was able to present a movie for my Junior Review. I finally got all the post-production into the film, and literally completed it just hours before my review. Four of my professors sat in on the review and gave me helpful notes in improving certain parts of the movie. They loved the concept and was very impressed in the amount of professionalism shown in my work.
This film has been the most intense project I have undertaken so far. With a very ambitious script, I was very happy that we were able to complete the majority of special effects and production in the amount of time that we had. I must give thanks to my actors that gave me so much of their free time to complete this. I set out to perform every part of the pre-production, production, and post-production of a film, and I have definitely learned the amount of planning and hard work that goes into executing a professional production.
With that said, the review has given me positive feedback and notes to make the film even better. Originally, the timetable for the release of the film and the incentives was this month, but I would like to delay this deadline to allow me to polish out all the small details that make a film feel like a complete piece. The estimated delivery will be in mid to late June.
I have uploaded a small clip from the movie. It is a sequence of my protagonist, Max, enjoying the Braindle and its applications.
