Help fund the production of my new dance/pop album - from studio to promotion - and interact with me and some of the appearing guests.
Hi. My name is Brad Walsh. I have recorded a few albums and done some remixes for some pop stars that you might have heard. There have been great reviews of my music in magazines and newspapers, on blogs, and my songs have been on television shows and commercials... YET... for some reason I don't have a Scrooge McDuck moneybin and the leaves on my trees are not hundred dollar bills! So I need some help getting my next album recorded and distributed.
Making a record can cost a lot of money, especially when you're doing everything yourself, like I am. The $6000 I am trying to raise is the low end of the projected costs, which include everything from studio fees to song mastering, disc pressing, digital distribution costs, printing of promo materials, and even a little bit of advertisement. I've thought up some fun pledge rewards, though, so your pledge results in you actually getting something cool in the end. In addition to the final album on CD and delivered digitally, you can also choose to receive some of my photo work, or a custom song made just for you, or even some special one-on-one experiences with me and my partner. It's up to you, so please take a look at the different pledge level rewards.
This new album I'm working on is very danceable, fun pop, and it's by far the best music I've ever made. I'm even impressing myself this time around. There are going to be several really incredible guest singers and players on some of the new tracks as well - different artists that I am a huge fan of - and every day that goes by and every vocal track that's recorded, I have to pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming. It's so cool that these great talents are into making some music with me.
Kickstarter is completely changing the way music is made and how artists connect to people who enjoy their work. The estimated date of completion is listed on all rewards as December 2012, but as this is an artistic project they may occur sooner or later than that.
