About this project
Approximately one year ago, I finished my new album "No Ocean In Ireland". Within that year, we have done two tours (US & Canada) and many shows in the Northeast to raise money for the recording expenses, promotion and release for the album. A year later and we are almost ready for the release! This time I will be releasing it on vinyl for the first time ever, and it will be funded by the three "F's"...Friends, Fans, and Family. Following a successful release, we will be gearing up for our biggest year of touring to date. This project will be used as a pre-order for the vinyl and digital release. It is also a way for me to give you more than the album. Thank you for your support, and thank you for being such great friends!

Brendan Rivera penned and recorded his first full album, The Musician with his longtime friend turned producer Mike Kalajian in 2007. A collective, Looking Glass Wars was formed, and they began playing The Musician. Looking Glass Wars would go on to play east coast shows and tours with the likes of Circa Survive, Silverstein, The Starting Line and Aiden. The band collectively recorded an EP titled a Place in a Parlor before calling it quits in 2009.
Rivera immediately continued writing songs for what would become his Solo debut, Body of Land. The album resonated with Vocalist, Shane Told of Silverstein, and was released in Canada on Shane’s label, Verona Records as well as American Indie label Veggie Co. Records. He then embarked on a 2009 Fall Tour with Silverstein and A Day to Remember. Rivera was honored in 2008 with Looking Glass Wars and again in 2009 for Body of Land, as one of the artists featured on Absolutepunk.net’s “Absolute 100” list of up and coming artists.
In 2011, Rivera entered the studio yet again with Producers Mike Kalajian and Gregory Dunn of Moving Mountains to record No Ocean in Ireland. The album features 11 songs, and clocks in at just over 50 minutes.
