About this project

Since 2005, Lauderdale has self released a 4 song EP, and a full length self titled album in 2007. Hundreds of shows and several incarnations later, the band behind the songs and voice of Niles Lee continues moving on. Lauderdale's latest effort, entitled 'Moving On', has been an ongoing project for the last two years. Despite the band members' busy schedules with families, careers, school and our many other musical endeavors, Lauderdale is proud to announce that the recordings for this album have come to a close. Mixing, mastering, and duplication are all that is left and have proven to be financially challenging for us. Now, the only thing Lauderdale needs to get this music available to those who desire it, is a little "kickstart." With the help of your pledges, we will be able to duplicate the record onto CD, press vinyl records, make new t-shirts and stickers, and maybe even get some publicity help. Check out our pledge options, as we are offering lots of unreleased material as rewards for specific pledges. Considering the album has already been recorded, we are approaching this page as pre-order site with lots of extras.

Among the pledge rewards, we have included 3 separate digital EP’s of unreleased material. The first of these will include 4-5 songs from alternate sessions containing different versions of some of the songs from the record and also some songs that didn’t end up on the record. The second of the EP’s is a professionally multi-tracked live show from 2008. The third EP is acoustic demo material from singer/songwriter Niles Lee.

If and when our goal is reached we will immediately place orders for CD duplication, vinyl pressing, and t-shirts & stickers. This will give up approximately 6 weeks of turnaround time before the official release on August 2nd. All pledge rewards will be mailed upon the release of ‘Moving On’ with the exception of the pre-release digital downloads. Those will be emailed approximately 2 weeks before the official release. Also, turnaround time for vinyl may be longer than expected, which may delay shipment of those pledge rewards.  We will keep everyone who has pledged updated on this.  Please don’t forget that any money that is pledged will not be an obligation unless 100% of our goal is met by the deadline.
