It is so unbelievably exciting to be writing to you right now. Why you may ask? (Please read on below)
This album is something that represents not just me, but the progressive art form that is musical theatre. It showcases a broad variety of my work that has been developed over the past ten years. I’ve composed six distinctly unique musicals, written for two TV shows, all the while listening to what the ‘listener’ has to say, or what they are interested in hearing. The support is overwhelming and because of that, the powers that be and myself are putting together an album of our favorite songs, your favorite songs, with the most talented people I know. It thrills me to be connected to this community and to help the growth of the art form that I love so much. I can’t thank you, the listener, enough!
And so looking towards Kickstarter seems incredibly apropos. With your support, we can build a creative project that not only furthers the art form as we understand it, but also showcases the new direction in which we are heading.

Risks and challenges Learn about accountability on Kickstarter
A significant amount of organisational and logistic work has already been done, however getting the album recorded in a timely and cost efficient manner is a big challenge. We have allowed for some extra time here and there, but mostly it will be about executing the project to maximize studio time.
Another challenge will be mixing and arranging tracks that are recorded in different cities and indeed different parts of the world! Our studio is NYC is already speaking to a studio in LA and Australia to ensure that we can combat this balance.
Another challenge is the task of music distribution. As we are distributing this independently, learning how to gain approval for iTunes and other web based stores is key for album sales.
