Well, you can't blame a fat girl for trying!
I wont be on the plane heading to Sheffield, England for the Sheffield Doc fest '09 representing FAT GIRLS FLOAT in the Meet Market Forum--which is like speed dating for filmmakers and funders. There is always next year-- but hopefully as a full-fledged doc!
O, well, Sheffield-- you're missing the mark, but I forgive you!
And I was hoping to include some level of a "full monty" (which is where the film THE FULL MONTY was filmed/took place) had I been invited.
Next time....

As a 300+ pound woman, I thought the best way to share the secrets of the fat world should be told by an insider. The world of size acceptance was introduced to me via accident, by a guy while I stood waiting for a train at New York City’s Grand Central Station in 1994. I’m thankful that he unknowingly led me to my people.
Upon entering the fat/BBW world, I found an avenue for friendship, resource sharing, art, and a story to share with the world. Touched by the stories I have both experienced and witnessed, I decided to share story of the collective plight, including my own, to lighten and enlighten those willing to listen. As a size activist, I testified at the Massachusetts state senate against anti- discrimination in the work place for height and weight in 2008. I feel life should not wait, despite your weight. It’s true, fat girls do float.
Hey there Kira it's Zik we talked yesterday about AVN. I haven't received the email you were supposed to send me.
