Temescal Street Cinema is a free outdoor summer movie series featuring the work of Bay Area film and video artists. It was begun by two neighbors, with the support of the Temescal Telegraph Business Improvement District in 2008 and has since evolved into an event run by a small nexus of artists and neighbors taking on various aspects of its curation and management.
