My name is Sonya and I am an avid crafter. I create jewelry, memory quilts, and a few other items. My favorite medium is seed beads although I do work with others.

Seed beads have been given such a bad name but they are a very special medium to work with. My goal is to create an entire line of seed bead jewelry that depicts people, places, and things. I would like for my jewelry to tell a story whether it be a meadow on a bracelet or a smiley face at the end of a chain. I would also like to turn this seed bead jewelry into portraits for wall hangings.

My goal is to gain enough support to expand my inventory. Many people want themselves, their children, or a deceased loved one on a bracelet or a chain but the problem with that is getting the proper color beads to accomplish this task. Most local companies do not have the colors I require and the companies I can order from have a minimum to order. I have to order in bulk. This is hard for me because I do not have the funds and I have to disappoint individuals because I cannot supply what they are looking for.

My other issue is getting the proper findings and clasps for my jewelry. Many people have allergies and are unable to wear plain metals so I would like to be able to move from using them to using silver, gold, and titanium clasps, chains, and ear wires.

I have been buying my patterns to create my facelet cuff bracelets from someone else. There is a program that I can purchase so that I can create my own and this program makes the facelets much more detail so I would purchase that program if I reach my goal. After only a few facelets this program will have saved me lots of money and actually paid for its self. 

The facelets seem to be everyone's favorite piece and I have had many inquires in reference to them but the lack of the proper inventory has caused me to not be able to meet the demand. This is where my supporters come in. With the proper inventory, the silver gold and titanium findings, and the creator program I can get the ball rolling and make everyone happy.
