UPDATE #2: One Week Left!

The response to PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS has been overwhelming so far. We are so proud  to be over 200% funded!

John and Sebastian are hard at work on the comic book now, on page 17. It is looking really amazing. This comic book is not going to disappoint. Starting this past Friday on the PVP facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/pages/Penguins-vs-Possums-A-Web-Comic/190827927622151), we began posting preview images from the comic. The first one can be seen here:

We'll be posting new images every Friday until Long Beach Comic Con, so make sure to 'like' the Facebook page!

We are starting to make buttons, t-shirts, postcards, and stickers for the con, and everything is looking fantastic. Can't wait!

Remember that we can still use as many donations as possible in the next seven days. We really want to spread the word of PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS far and wide, and every dollar donated will help us with that.

THE PROJECT:

PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS is a story produced by two friends who are life-long comic book fans. What started as something to pass the time at work (on Post-It notes) has evolved into something we want to share with the world and enter into the pantheon of comic book history... but we'll settle for people, y'know, digging it. 

PVP is pushing us to self-publish the comic, something we never thought possible before; truly a lifelong dream. That's where YOU come in:

THE PLAN:

We are taking PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS to Long Beach Comic Con (http://www.longbeachcomiccon.com) and want to make as big a splash as we can!

With your contributions, we plan to print a run of the comic, produce advertising merchandise, and also adorn our artists' table with banners to bring in passer-by.

THE GOAL:

To share PENGUINS VS. POSSUMS with as many people as possible (how's THAT for alliteration)  with the hope that it will bring as much joy to them as it has to us.... and that's a lot of joy.

The more money we are able to raise means more copies of the comic we are able to print and hopefully more attention the series can garner. More minds blown. Boom!
