What if the world stopped to dance?
It has every year since 2005, and it will again!
And you’re invited to join us!
March 30th
12 Noon in CA...3 pm in NY...9 pm in Madrid & so on around the world

This public art experience is for everyone, wherever they are: anyone can join in – no experience, auditions, applications or fees. It is FREE!
This year I am creating this Kickstarter campaign to raise funds to be able to pay for help with the many tasks this global art party needs in order to happen – anywhere and everywhere.
This includes: outreach to individuals and groups to invite them to join in, website creation and maintenance, keeping up with social media and "dance anywhere® news" (thank you interns!), design of postcards, e-news letters, match making between public sites and choreographers, marketing and PR...and after the performance:
curating the online galleries, interviews for the blog, editing videos...
This year dance anywhere® Goes to School. We will create an online school gallery: where students and teachers will be able to post drawings, art work, comments and thoughts about their experience.

Every year since 2005, on one day, simultaneously around the world, dancers, students, seniors, artists, business men and dreamers alike STOP and unleash their moving creativity in parks, sidewalks, office buildings, museums, schools - anywhere their dancing bodies will fit.
Join us for another year of transforming public spaces and everyday relations into vehicles of inspiration! Every year thousands of people from San Francisco, Istanbul, Buenos Aires, Estonia, and around the world participate!
People create site-specific performances, have open rehearsals, have a dance party in the office,… we’ve even had a group do hand choreography in their seats in an airplane. Contributions can be choreographed or improvised, long or short, costumed or pedestrian. Our definition of dance is as wide as our participants’ creativity.
Don’t be fooled! This isn’t just a dance event. It is an invitation to infuse our relationships and environment with collaboration, creativity, and inspiration! Get Involved!
